I blindly stumbled into adult/womanhood. With a resume filled with brokenness, abuse, neglect, and rejection, I learned how to pretend well. I wore a facade for the majority of my adult life. One painful event after another lead to a near mental breakdown. I had known God at one time, but He seemed so distant in my war-torn life. My entire paradigm would permanently shift at the divine entrance of my husband.

Authentically Me was birthed out of purging, trials, and pain. God, in His merciful love, showed me He had use for ever bitter experience in my life. He showed me the tremendous impact these experiences would have in other women's lives. My only requirement was to obey and follow.

I am a daughter of the Most High God, a wife, mother, writer, speaker, friend, and sister. I invite you, my sister, to embark on this journey with us. This journey will help us to see our true identities and worth, found all and only in God. We will strip off the facades together. And while we're at it, indulge in lots of coffee! I am so happy to have you here!
